Mission Statement
The Children’s Ministry exists for the purpose of meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the children in our church and community and supports the mission statement of our church. The Bible instructs us to “Go into all the world . . . teaching . . . preaching . . baptizing them. . .” (Matt. 28:19-20). Our ministry focus is on the children, and by relating to the children, we also reach their parents.

Vision Statement
The vision of the Children’s Ministry is to see all children come to the salvation and to the point of identifying with who Jesus is and to apply biblical truths to their lives. It is our vision to reach children of all ethnic, economical, and social backgrounds.

Sunday Bible Study

Sunday Mornings
Every Sunday the kid’s are introduced to a Bible story, and there are activities that relate to the story or theme for the month. We use the Family Bible Study Series from LifeWay Christian Bookstores, provided by the Southern Baptist Convention. Activities include games, songs, projects and Bible verse memory.

How can Parent's Help?

Parents can help by bringing their children to church, encouraging them to bring their Bible to class, and reviewing the take home sheets with their child/children during the week. If parents want to be involved in the ministry, they may volunteer to help with the class, provide needed supplies or snacks, or make a monetary donation to the Children’s Ministry through the church offering. Parents are encouraged to pray daily for their children.
