Our Affiliations

Eastside is a self-goverened, fully-independent church that determines its own affairs under the Lordship of Christ.

We partner with other bible-teaching organizations to help reach our community, state and world for Christ:

The Greater Detroit Baptist Association
We affiliate with 62 churches and missions that fellowship, pray and work together for the transformation of lives in Greater Detroit.

The Baptist State Convention of Michigan
We affiliate with more than 300 churches and missions that work together with the goal of evangelizing Michigan.

The Southern Baptist Convention
We affiliate with 42,000 churches that cooperate together in a world-wide effort of missions. The Southern Baptist Convention is the most diverse association of churches. SBC churches include every race, nationality, and ethnic group. Each Sunday, services are held in over 80 languages in the U.S. One out of every three African-Americans in the U.S. is a Southern Baptist. Congregations include Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Hispanic, Vietnamese, Laotian, Black, Arabic, and Romanian Southern Baptist churches.

The Cooperative Program
Through the Southern Baptist "Cooperative Program," Eastside participates in the largest missionary organization in the world, and helps support more than 7,500 missionaries in 104 countries around the world.
